DIY: Rustic Wedding Sign

Here’s what you’ll need:

• A Wooden Sign- 50% off right now at Michaels $4.99
• White Paint
• A Thin Paint Brush
• Stencils

On Etsy you might see signs this this for anywhere from $35.00 – $100.00.

This version will cost you from $5.00 – $10.00 to make.

Step 1: Stain your Sign. Remember to wear protective gloves and use a cloth to rub the stain into the wood.

Step 2: Using your stencil trace your letters with a pen.

Step 3: Paint your letters using a thin paint brush.

Step 4: Using a permanent marker add shadows to your letters (as seen below)

Step 5: This is where I added some bamboo letters. This is not a necessary step.

When you’re finished it will look something like this:

You can make the DIY Garland by using twine, dollar store flowers, construction paper and a glue gun. Easy peasy!
