ONE ROOM CHALLENGE – WEEK TWO – FALL 2017

Told you I was going to catch up fast. For my week two post of our Master Bedroom Makeover I’m talking about the vision for the space. I was really really really contemplating going with some pastel pinks. Especially after a recent reveal for Karin Bennett Designs where we mixed some soft pinks with some dark blues. It looked incredible (scroll down for pics)!

Of course when we think ‘Pink’ we usually think of a girlie retreat (well I do at least). It really doesn’t have to be that way and actually it was anything but that in our recent client reveal. Regardless, in the end I decided against it. If you know me I love to decorate with blues and greens so why not bring what I love into our bedroom? I’ve actually partnered up with Bouclair for this project so the best place to start was online! I fell in love with their winter Organic Winter Collection and thought it would be perfect for our bedroom makeover. Once I drooled over all the items I narrowed things down to create my vision board for our space. I challenged myself to a $500 transformation and these are the items I chose:

So now that I’ve planned out my items, I can see the vision… it’s time to get to work! First up are some dressers that I’m recycling. They were my grannie’s and I’m giving them an complete overhaul for the One Room Challenge. Stay tuned for my next post to see how those turn out.
