Looking to make your home feel more ‘cottagey’ this summer? (Is that even a word?  Well… I’m going with it anyways) Here’s my #1 tip for bringing this look into your own home:

USE NATURAL TEXTURES

Of course when you think of ‘wicker’ you think of outdoor patio sets. You can see that designer Montana Burnett has chosen to bring the wicker indoors. The weave in the wicker love seat is similar to the natural weave in the carpet, as well as, the beautiful wood texture on the wall.

Make note: the lantern, the tray, the coffee table, the stool and even the pillows also have a natural texture to them. This is a great way to bring that ‘cottagey’ outdoor vibe into your own home. Why not try it out. ( And send me pic!!!)
