With our new house just a few months away I am SOOO excited to start decorating. Every morning when I wake up, every day when I drive into work and every night before I go to sleep I dream up decor ideas. I decided that I would try to make an inspiration board so that I could get a better idea of what I wanted for each room. Here’s my first attempt at an inspiration board for our living room.

These are the colours, textures and pieces I would like to add.

 

I’m in love with grey tufted couches. They may not be extremely comfortable but that’s why you add stacks of pillows haha. I just love the look of tufting. It’s elegant and classy. The carpet in the picture above is from Joss and Main. It’s soo pretty! I have two wingback chairs that were my grandfather’s. I’m going to get them reupholstered in white. Mirrored touches are so my style. Oh, and lastly, the stormy painting above the couch is to die for. I hope I can find something like it for our living room. Can’t wait to see how it all comes together.
